This page explains how Smart Observer is funded and what happens when you follow a link from one of our articles to a provider.

How Smart Observer is funded

Smart Observer is published by MEDIA MONZA LIMITED. Some of our articles contain links to third-party providers. If you follow one of those links and sign up with the provider, MEDIA MONZA LIMITED may earn a commission from that provider. The commission comes from the provider, not from you.

Sponsored articles and links

Articles that carry a commercial arrangement are labelled “Advertorial” in the masthead. Links to providers inside them are marked as sponsored, and the link address carries campaign information so that the provider can tell a visit came from our article. We do not run scripts that change, delay or redirect those links.

Who does what

UserTesting runs the website- and app-testing service described in our article. It decides who is accepted, which tests are available and how much each test pays, and it handles registration and payment. MEDIA MONZA LIMITED does not run that service, does not collect sign-ups for it and does not pay anyone for completing tests.

What this means for what you read

We aim to describe providers using details they publish on their own sites, and we do not promise results. Because we may earn a commission, you should treat any article with a provider link as a starting point for your own research, and read the provider’s own terms before you sign up.
